Brian and Angela Sackett are primarily natural light photographers based in Tampa Bay, Florida. We prefer to use daylight as our primary lighting source, because of its incomparable beauty. For this reason, the majority of our sessions are “on location,” either in cool and interesting locations we scout, or even in your own home. (Loving Legacy Photography is available for travel to your own destination.) We also do limited studio work; contact us for more information!
Loving Legacy Photography truly is a family business. By that we mean, family comes first (yours and ours), and it is our vision to pour our hearts into working together to help your family capture the legacy that is you, and preserve it as art that will be treasured for generations… telling the story of your lives.
As a mother of five, Angela shoots with a momma’s heart. Whether working with newborns or expectant mom, great-grandmas or new brides, it is my goal to find the story, the heart, the soul of our clients and capture it as art to be shared and remembered. We firmly believe that photography is our opportunity to fulfill the Biblical encouragement to pass on truth from generation to generation, telling the story of Faithfulness to those who come after us. While we work hard to advance our technical skills and continually update our high-quality, professional equipment as our tools, it is this heart-perspective which I believe draws us close to the hearts of our subjects and is the hallmark of our work.
If you’re a curious techie, we’re “Nikonians.” My mom-in-law bought me my first DSLR, and as I’ve grown and upgraded, I have discovered that Nikon seems to shoot warmer colors straight out of camera, an attribute we prize in our style of work. I love the richness of color, and although I happily borrow my girlfriend’s camera for a fun change, I’m smitten with our Nikon gear.
The “we” and “our” of Loving Legacy Photography is our family. While this adventure began with a mom’s passion for recording our own family’s legacy, it has spread to include Brian Sr., my husband, and several of our children. With your permission, you will often find we are assisted by one of our older children who themselves shoot (and their images have been purchased by our clients to proudly hang on their walls), and also assist us on location… and you’ll find that if you have children, ours will often elicit the best smiles and trust.
Recently my husband has taken a more active role in the business, and frankly, there’s no more romantic “date” for us than to work together with you… whether it’s portrait sessions or weddings, we have a blast together and with our different perspectives, bring more depth to your images!

Wow, I first saw your work with the Lemlers, now you just did a shoot for a long time friend I know from highschool. Tiffany and Jimmy. Beautiful work.
