they giggled. they snuggled. the love and gentleness shared between generations is palpable. thank you, r. family, for the opportunity to help capture your family’s legacy.

she loves to read… she loves to dance… her eyes sparkle with humble confidence and joy in life… meet lauren, senior.
who would’ve thought a nine-year-old could produce work strong enough to get her hired independently. you amaze me, princess-girlie! lauren, i hope you enjoy anna’s poraits… she has proclaimed you “one of the best sessions, EVER.”
ah, lauren. when i heard your name i couldn’t believe you were a senior already! what a beautiful young lady you are… God’s love shines through your eyes, and when you dance, the music is beautiful. thank you and mom for a wonderful evening… anna and i had a blast!
her goal this year is to create memories… to have fun and soak up every minute of the last year of her homeschool career. she’s the third sister of four. she’s a basketball player and a softball player, and her smiling eyes light the world around her (and when you meet mom, you know just where they come from). thank you, caitlin and your family, for a great day at the park. here’s to you, and your senior year of memories!
p.s. – i’d be remiss if i didn’t thank dad for being a super second assistant! you added even more light to your daughter’s beauty!
{hugs!} – angela
one of my most fun sessions ever… this angel-girl brought her momma (who is a fellow photographer!) and daddy for some super cool family portraits. thought i’d share this shot – mommy’s idea – in celebration of the gallery posting! password is your last name, guys!

edmon and gjila stole my heart the first time we met. she’s such a nurturing heart and he is so goofy and they are both totally model gorgeous…
and more importantly, the rhythm between the two of them as they move through life and love on the people they interact with is utterly beautiful. spending just two days with them in their week-long community celebration was a powerful experience. there couldn’t have been a better location for the celebration than the Kapok, with its phenomenal architecture and grand ballroom. the catering by Olympia Catering was elegant and fabulous!
the dancing. the food. the phenomenally beautiful women and the attentive men. the utterly complete sense of heritage and tradition and family… it is a beautiful thing, this albanian wedding.

thank you, edmon and gjila, and your wonderful families, for an amazing experience.
