amy and mike’s wedding took place in a beautiful private residence in the Bayou Club.  filled with little touches of butterflies and glitter and all things lavender, it was a classically elegant wedding.  amy is stunningly beautiful and her family and friends were so sweet and attentive!

so forever ago several photographer friends and i met up in Ybor for some fun shooting and just hang-time, encouraging each other and trying out some fun techniques.  of course whe we finished dinner, several blocks’ hike from our vehicels and loaded to the hilt with all our gear, there was a torrential downpour unlike any i can remember.  we laughed and we were SOAKED!!  nonetheless, we had a blast.

while we were out, we grabbed a few shots of the beautiful shelya for her branding/marketing!

thank you so much, adorable shelya, for trusting us all behind the lens, and for being on the back burner while we served clients first.    you are beautiful and fun and we can’t wait for the next meetup!

Giggles and coffee… baked goods and Bibles… moms making memories together.  These ladies are astounding to me in their collective vision, passion, drive, gentleness of spirit and wisdom.  They came together to support one another in growing both as home educators and as businesswomen, and I feel like a better woman just being in their company!

There is such beauty in the friendships of women.  Thank you so much Mary and the rest of “the girls,” for allowing me to share your hearts and vision.  You are BEAUTIFUL, and the world is a better place because of you!

riley, her guests, and her momma have been crazy-patient with me as her party fell before the Christmas craze, and then we had a little time securing the model releases… {aspiring photographers, here’s a little side note: never, ever publish the images of children, especially, without releases.  it’s so important to protect our kids and honor our clients!!}

riley’s guests brought their American Girls dolls or other special friends, and they enjoyed cupcakes and fruit along with “tea,” and each girl had her photo taken at our portrait cottage!
