ah, sarah.  i looked forward to your senior session for (literally!) years.  girl, you didn’t disappoint.  you look amazing, and it seemed the light just kept smiling on us all evening.  :)

there’s something amazing about graduating as a homeschooler.  it’s a family affair, and everyone’s invested and proud to watch the next little fledgeling head for the nest-edge.  sarah, your family’s so excited to see where God will take you, and so are we!  hannah, thanks for jumping in – i know the “sisters” shots will be so important to you both.

congratulations, sarah and family!  xoxo!  –angela

“our” miss nancy {tampa bay senior adult portraits}

i only hope i am half this sassy when my kids and grandkids are grown.  miss nancy is our neighbor, and we don’t get enough time with her.  but she still treats us like family, and she still makes some seriously good italian, and she works in a pizza joint where she keeps everyone hoppin’.  inspired by my photographer-hero bobbi to capture portraits of beautiful women in my life, along with my long-building desire to capture the beauty in the “elder” generation, i begged and pleaded to be allowed to do portraits of miss nancy.  she obliged, with nails and hair and makeup done up at 8am.  and i am so thankful.  isn’t she beautiful?

so sassy.

she couldn’t make that face without giggling.  me either!

classy, too.  :)

how pretty you are!

thank you, miss nancy, for making my day.  and thank you for starting it off with coffee and raisin toast… and that deadly almond crescent!

love you.  :)   xoxo {angela}

p.s. – this session is shared in honor of my grandma ruth, who is just as beautiful, and miss marge, who was just this sassy; two women who will leave a lasting legacy of what a beautiful woman really is.
