so before we did a quick change and offered the boys to our oldest for some playground “man time,” we took summer and jason’s family on a mini photo adventure.
having known little j. since we photographed his newborn session at just a few days old, it is such fun to watch him grow up into a little man. 
big brother (also a j.) is so grown up already…
what a privilege it is to follow a little boy from being just a glimmer of joy in mama’s tummy to being a bona-fide little boy of nine months already! we had so much fun going back to the site of melissa and david’s maternity session and letting baby j. experience the same spots his mom and dad love. a first peek:

early morning. goo in our shoes from the ever-present florida summer rains. and not a complaint, because the light was golden and the heat wasn’t yet unbearable and most of all, the family was happy to be together on a summer morning. thank you, bonnie, and all of your crew, for a sweet sunrise session!

al and cyndee are neighbors, and have a special place in our hearts. their love for each other through hard times and sweet has always been evident. their commitment and adoration for their kids (and grandkids!) is inspirational. so when they chose us to photograph some special family memories, we couldn’t wait for “the kids” to arrive, so we could shoot away…
