playing in the park {largo tampa clearwater st. pete childrens photographer}

tiffany is our neighbor, and a mom with a love for girly things as great as her little girl’s!  she wasn’t able to be at the session, so i’m super excited to share a few images of her adorable babies!  enjoy, mom and dad!  (you guys did a great job – i love these!  :)   )

she’s making her grumpy face here on purpose, i promise!  :)

usually i have a strong preference for color or black and white, but i think i love these equally.

sweet baby-brother!  i love this image because it was at the very end of the session, and while i was shooting away with his big sister, anna had picked up this little guy to snuggle.  i want to eat him for dessert.  (man, i’ve gotta quit admitting that…)

just a few more.

thank you guys, and miss jenny, for a super wild-and-crazy-fun morning!  (and thank you as always, my own girl, for totally rocking.)

hugs!  –miss angela

p.s. – it’s time again for some blog-love fun.  :)   leave some comments for the adorable v. family.  20 comments earns them a special gift!

j’s beautiful babies {clearwater children’s photographer}

when julie and i met at a wedding celebration (she and her hubby have an awesome dance band called Aqua Groove), i immediately loved her.  :)   she’s drop-dead gorgeous and a fabulous musician… and she’s a woman who works alongside her hubby!  it was totally cool to be asked to photograph her equally-gorgeous kiddos (dad had a part, too – you can see the good looks all through the gang…) and we had a blast!  of course, being that it was a typical Florida summer evening, we were literally wringing sweat out of our pants before we jumped in the van.  nonetheless, we loved every minute, and we love the images even more.

we always encourage mommas to bring special “objects” of their lil’ ones’… it adds richness and history to your portraits… pretty soon this guy will be driving. sigh.

lil’ miss speedy here made us work hard for her portraits.  this one is out to make her mark on the world.  :)

…aaaand we caught her!  :)

aren’t our hubbies handsome, julie?  there is just something so attractive about a daddy interacting with a kiddo.  just seconds after this shot, my man was laying flat out on the ground working to get a glance from sister; i just had to spontaneously shout, “you are so HOT!”  heehee…

i love the color version of this one, too, but if it were me, i’d be blowing up a huge fine art print of this – such a nostalgic feel… yummy.

thank you guys so much for the opportunity to “catch” your speedy little people.  we look forward to seeing them and their parents again!

huge hugs… brian and angela (and brian jr. – who was a rockin’ assistant – thanks, bud!)

family vacation {st pete family beach portraits}

brad and carrie are family, and so that makes it all the more meaningful when they chose us to capture their super special time in the family’s history.  the girls are growing up and spreading their wings, and a family vacation is a great time to get everyone together and enjoy each other without all the distractions of everyday commitments (except texting, of course!  :)   ).  we had so much fun with you guys (and at the game night afterwards!); thank you so much for trusting us and spending part of your trip in front of our lenses.  enjoy your sneak peek!

who’s the hot guy with the camera?  oh yeah, he’s mine:)

big huge cousin-hugs… love, brian and angela!

kindred spirits {st pete beach family portraits}

did you ever know before you even met someone that you were girlfriends?  from the first email i received from nikki, i was like a kid waiting for Christmas, excited to meet her.  maybe it was her online boutique, polka stripe, chock full of goodies destined to make any mom or photographer swoon.  maybe it was her glittery language that made me feel like we’d met for coffee and were best of heart-friends.  could’ve been her kind words and creative ideas for her session… and the giant box she arrived with, shipped from cali (and little did i know that like the Christmas elf, she planned to send that box home with me!!  whee!!).  whatever it was, i was excited for the family session planned to coincide with a family reunion trip to florida.

um, yes, this little ensemble is adorable, defined.  and yes, i have a couple of these available for your photographic enjoyment.  these fit bigger girls, as well, so start planning your session! (and for you mommas of teeny girls, i have a new line at the studio from a sweet local friend… ask me!!)

 furthermore, if you have to have your own (or two), stop by and visit my new friend nikki here!

i want to eat this little man for dessert. please don’t tell anyone – i don’t want to be the scary photographer. :)

the men.

nikki, it was pure joy to meet your sweet family.  even though i turned it down (who can bypass a diet coke?!), i loved your hubby for offering me a beer at nine a.m.  your boys made me giggle and your girls made me melt, and i look forward to meeting again!

big hugs, girlfriend!  xo – angela

the l. family {florida urban family portraits}

when someone’s known you for a while and they choose to trust you with their family’s investment and time, it’s such a huge honor.  we consider these guys to be friends, and to be given the opportunity to spend the afternoon with them was a gift.  such a fun mom and dad, who really relaxed and let their kids’ personalities shine… you guys blessed us!

um, that one.  RIGHT UP THERE.  canvas on my wall.  LARGE, please.

and you, hot mama.  that’s MY wii name, but you deserve it.  you are beautiful.

(darren, you’re not so bad yourself.  :)   )  but this guy below, well, he gives me butterflies.  every day.  and ian, what an awesome big brother you are.  my kids think you look TOTALLY cool in your session.  they’re right!

this one, on the right?  she’s the one who can be “hard to take pictures of.”  really?? jilly, happy birthday, beautiful girl.  you are amazing in front of our lenses!!

you girls melt my heart… you’re as pretty as your momma!

and yes, it all started when these two people fell in love.

thank you guys so much for the wonderful afternoon.  it was truly our pleasure to watch your family in action.  God is evident in your faces and in your lives!!

big hugs from us both.  :)   –brian and angela
