to say she’s got spunk is an understatement. she can sing and she can act and she’s funny. oh, yeah, and she’s gorgeous.
sarah’s a senior at keswick christian school this year and she’s signed on as a model for loving legacy photography. lucky us!
a few years ago i had the pleasure delight to photograph the most elegant, artistic, whimsical senior session. i enjoyed the time i spent with a beautiful girl who was creative and willing to try anything, and we created gorgeous images together. flash forward to a call that her brother is graduating, and WE get the privilege to capture the moment!
patrick, you are such a cool guy (the kind i hope my boys are on their way to being). your easy-going manner and your obvious respect for God, family, and friends is evident (as are your stellar golf skills, which i clearly do not fully appreciate!! 
). thank you for patiently explaining golf terms, for having a charming smile, and for being up for braving the hot sun to create killer images. you’re awesome!
much as i hate to admit it, amber’s beautiful mom nadine and i have been friends for years, and so it was a huge honor to be allowed the gift of photographing her as a senior! because amber’s been studying photography herself and she’s a student of her favorite photographers, so being chosen was a double honor… not to mention super-fun! it was also a blast to wander some of our favorite spots in Naples together…
waterside shops in naples is one of my favorite spots from when we lived there, and it was fun to watch amber rock the place. we didn’t make too much of a scene, but even after the store manager gave us permission, we did get kicked out of this store window by a guard. he was nice, but we grabbed this shot first. awesome, amber!
come on. really?!
…and even though i rarely get in front of the camera, because mom so sweetly asked, i am proud to be in this image with you, amber. you are awesome, and maybe some day we can grab you full time for

just one for amber, who is the most sweet-spirited, amazing senior girl… homeschooled, she’s a budding photographer herself. this is her grandpa’s camera, used during the Korean War. THAT is legacy.

my sweet boy… hurtling forward into the teen years… so wise and tender, and so human still. you are a joy, son. daddy and i are so proud of you and so thankful Papa-God gave us four boys, and you were the first.
sorry it’s taken so long to blog, buddy, but your session was too cool NOT to.
i love that our kids share a love for music. thanks for letting your sister assist on your shoot, and for hanging with her…
